Your day-wise itinerary
DAY 01Delhi to Haridwar+
Assemble at the announced Delhi point and travel by shared coach to Haridwar. Check in and attend the evening Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri. Overnight in Haridwar.
DAY 02Haridwar to Guptkashi+
Drive via Devprayag, Srinagar Garhwal and Rudraprayag to Guptkashi, roughly eight to nine hours. Check in and rest for the trek. Overnight in Guptkashi.
DAY 03Kedarnath trek and darshan+
Start very early, drive to Sonprayag and take the compulsory shuttle to Gaurikund. Trek about sixteen kilometres to Kedarnath. Pony, palki, porter and helicopter are local and at your own cost. Darshan as queues allow. Overnight at Kedarnath.
DAY 04Return trek to Guptkashi+
After morning darshan trek down to Gaurikund, take the shuttle to Sonprayag and drive back to Guptkashi. Overnight in Guptkashi.
DAY 05Guptkashi to Delhi+
After breakfast begin the long return drive to Delhi via Haridwar, roughly twelve to thirteen hours with breaks, and drop at the announced point.

Char Dham and Kedarnath are open from the temple opening dates in April or May until the closing dates around Diwali. Uttarakhand Char Dham registration is compulsory. Routes change with landslides and weather.
