Your day-wise itinerary
DAY 01Delhi to Haridwar+
Depart Delhi in the morning and drive to Haridwar, roughly five to six hours. Check in and attend the evening Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri. Overnight in Haridwar.
DAY 02Haridwar to Barkot+
Drive via Dehradun and Mussoorie to Barkot, roughly seven to eight hours. Check in and rest for the Yamunotri trek. Overnight in Barkot.
DAY 03Yamunotri darshan+
Drive to Janki Chatti and trek about six kilometres to Yamunotri. Pony, palki and porter are local and at your own cost. Return to Barkot after darshan. Overnight in Barkot.
DAY 04Barkot to Uttarkashi+
Drive to Uttarkashi, roughly four to five hours, and visit Kashi Vishwanath temple if time allows. Overnight in Uttarkashi.
DAY 05Gangotri darshan+
Drive to Gangotri through Harsil, about three to four hours each way. After darshan return to Uttarkashi. Overnight in Uttarkashi.
DAY 06Uttarkashi to Guptkashi+
A long driving day of roughly nine to ten hours via Tehri and Srinagar Garhwal. Overnight in Guptkashi.
DAY 07Kedarnath darshan+
Drive to Sonprayag, take the compulsory shuttle to Gaurikund and trek about sixteen kilometres to Kedarnath. Pony, palki and helicopter are local and at your own cost. Overnight at Kedarnath or Guptkashi as confirmed.
DAY 08Return to Guptkashi+
After morning darshan trek down to Gaurikund, shuttle to Sonprayag and drive to Guptkashi. Overnight in Guptkashi.
DAY 09Guptkashi to Badrinath+
Drive via Joshimath to Badrinath, roughly eight to nine hours depending on gate timings. Evening darshan and the Tapt Kund. Overnight in Badrinath.
DAY 10Badrinath, Mana and Rudraprayag+
After morning darshan visit Mana village, Vyas Gufa and Bheem Pul, then drive to Rudraprayag. Overnight in Rudraprayag.
DAY 11Rudraprayag to Haridwar+
Drive to Haridwar, roughly five to six hours, and check in. Evening free at the ghats. Overnight in Haridwar.
DAY 12Haridwar to Delhi+
After breakfast and check-out, drive back to Delhi and transfer to your drop point.

Char Dham and Kedarnath are open from the temple opening dates in April or May until the closing dates around Diwali. Uttarakhand Char Dham registration is compulsory. Routes change with landslides and weather.
