Your day-wise itinerary
DAY 01Haridwar to Guptkashi+
Depart Haridwar early and drive via Devprayag, Srinagar Garhwal and Rudraprayag to Guptkashi, roughly eight to nine hours. Check in and rest for the trek. Overnight in Guptkashi.
DAY 02Kedarnath trek and darshan+
Start very early, drive to Sonprayag and take the compulsory shuttle to Gaurikund. Trek about sixteen kilometres to Kedarnath. Pony, palki and helicopter are local and at your own cost. Overnight at Kedarnath.
DAY 03Return trek to Guptkashi+
After morning darshan trek down to Gaurikund, shuttle to Sonprayag and drive back to Guptkashi. Overnight in Guptkashi.
DAY 04Guptkashi to Badrinath+
Drive via Joshimath to Badrinath, roughly eight to nine hours depending on gate timings. Evening darshan and the Tapt Kund. Overnight in Badrinath.
DAY 05Badrinath, Mana and Rudraprayag+
After morning darshan visit Mana village, Vyas Gufa and Bheem Pul, then drive to Rudraprayag. Overnight in Rudraprayag.
DAY 06Rudraprayag to Haridwar+
After breakfast drive to Haridwar, roughly five to six hours, and transfer to the station or your onward point.

Kedarnath and Badrinath are open from the temple opening dates in April or May until the closing dates around Diwali. Uttarakhand registration is compulsory. Routes change with landslides and weather.
