Your day-wise itinerary
DAY 01Arrival at Srinagar+
On arrival at Srinagar airport, transfer to the hotel. The first day is kept light, with an evening shikara ride on Dal Lake. Overnight in Srinagar.
DAY 02Srinagar Mughal gardens+
Visit the Mughal gardens with breaks between stops, then the Shankaracharya viewpoint if the climb suits everyone. Overnight in Srinagar.
DAY 03Sonamarg day trip+
Drive to Sonamarg, about three hours each way, for the meadow and the Sindh river valley. Pony rides to Thajiwas glacier are local and at your own cost. Return to Srinagar. Overnight in Srinagar.
DAY 04Srinagar to Pahalgam+
Drive to Pahalgam through the saffron belt and check in. Keep the evening easy by the Lidder river. Overnight in Pahalgam.
DAY 05Pahalgam valleys and drive to Gulmarg+
Visit Betaab valley by local union taxi at your own cost, then drive to Gulmarg and check in. Overnight in Gulmarg.
DAY 06Gulmarg and back to Srinagar+
Spend the morning at the Gulmarg meadow and gondola area, tickets at your own cost, then drive back to Srinagar and check in. Overnight in Srinagar.
DAY 07Departure from Srinagar+
After breakfast and check-out, transfer to Srinagar airport for your booked flight.

Best season to travel
Kashmir is open all year. Tulip season is usually late March to mid April, snow at Gulmarg from December to February, and Sonamarg road access depends on snow clearance. Local union taxis are compulsory on some stretches.
